On the seaside road of Vrontados there are many hotels, rooms to let, taverns, restaurants, ouzeri and cafeterias.

In the picturesque port of Daskalopetra the fishing boats bring everyday fresh fishes for the residents, who come to the port, early in the morning, to buy them. 

In a small distance from here, there is the homonymous beach of "Daskalopetra".

Mainly in the summer time, many residents of the island and many visitors come to the beach, very often, to enjoy the sea and sun. 

And after their swim they can enjoy a good lunch in one of the taverns, which are along the beach, with a view high up of the famous "Teachers Stone".
